Tiki Village Mobile Home Park ("Tiki") is a 55 age and over community comprised of 205 mobile home sites and 14 travel trailer lots located within the city of Tavares, Florida on the Dora Canal. Tiki residents enjoy a peaceful, serene living environment on their home sites adjacent to the Dora Canal bordered by natural woodlands owned by the county that has been preserved for generations in virtually its original appearance. It is not unusual for Tiki residents to almost always catch a glimpse of an alligator, turtle, great blue heron, as well as that of many other birds and species.
The Dora Canal, lined with stately moss draped cypress trees standing in still dark waters, presents a picture of natural beauty that has given the Canal the reputation as "one of the most beautiful waterways in the State". The approximate one mile waterway connects two of the larger lakes in Lake County, Dora and Eustis, enabling a Tiki boater to cruise through the chain of lakes and canals to Silver Springs, or Jacksonville, and even out to the Atlantic Ocean.
