The Detroit Tiger's spring training camp is only eight miles away at the Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland. The area offers many championship golf courses within 8 miles of the community. A day at the beach, a fun-filled adventure at an amusement park, or an outing at a state park are all within 55 miles or less. Bordering Mulberry to the north on State Road 37 is Lakeland, with the world's largest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture at Florida Southern College situated 10 miles away from Lake Pointe Village. In addition, Watson Clinic, one of the best multi-specialty medical facilities in the nation, is located 12 miles from the community.
